Sydney has an undergraduate degree from Juniata College (a small liberal arts school in Pennsylvania) in Spanish with minors in Biology and Psychology. She earned her Didactic Program in Dietetics (a post-baccalaureate program), Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Health Promotion and Certificate in Sports Nutrition from Simmons University in Boston.
She fulfilled her 1200 hour, supervised dietetic internship at the Massachusetts General Hospital, where she completed rotations in clinical, outpatient and community settings. Her concentration, a self-designed clinical rotation, was fulfilled at Walden Behavioral Care where she gained experience in the treatment of eating disorders at the inpatient, residential, PHP and IOP levels of care.
Over the years, Sydney has delved deep into the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size®. She is passionate about utilizing these approaches to help her clients heal their relationships with food and body and feel more confident and empowered with eating.
She believes strongly that nutrition and health is so much more than the conventionally reductionist calories in vs calories out approach and that food (and life) is meant to be ENJOYED.
She often relates with her clients on a deep level because she’s BEEN there. She tried the fad diets and so-called wellness trends, obsessively calorie counted and went to extreme measures to attempt to obtain the “ideal” body per society’s unrealistic standards. She once exercised obsessively and ate pristinely- all under the guise of “health”. She thought she was doing it all right: she went vegetarian, took up running, became a Spinning instructor, drank her kale smoothies. And yet, her mind and her physical health suffered in the process. She quickly learned how much of her “healthy” identity was actually self-sabotage and hijacking her happiness and wellbeing.
She does not sacrifice enjoyment or satisfaction in the process, as food is meant to taste good!
She is equipped with abundant knowledge and experience; and is passionate about providing evidence-based approaches to guide her clients toward food freedom. She will work closely with you, keeping in mind your personal vulnerabilities, goals and values.
Outside of the office, Sydney can probably be found trying new restaurants, visiting new places with her partner, looking at dogs on adoption sites, nose deep in a good book, or going on a mindful walk. Her favorite foods include watermelon, chocolate, key lime pie and lobster dunked in melted butter.

Jennie received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies from New York University. She then completed her Dietetic Internship at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she created her own concentration on Eating Disorder Care and Intuitive Eating. Jennie has experience working in private practice and with patients in the PHP and IOP levels of care for eating disorders. The combination of these experiences has provided Jennie with the opportunity to work with a variety of clients with diverse backgrounds and concerns.
When Jennie is not working, she can be found playing around in the kitchen creating desserts or curling up under a blanket with a mystery or romance novel. Jennie’s favorite foods are Coffee Heath ice cream and eggs (prepared any way). She can often be found walking to and from the grocery store with arugula and chocolate covered pretzels in her tote while listening to the Head and the Heart.
